On an Outer Banks sunset sail out of Colington Harbour in Kill Devil Hills, NC we encountered a pod of curious Bottlenose dolphins who rode with us along the sound. Bottlenose dolphins often roam the sound from May through October.

Sailing our Goat Island Skiff in 20-30 knot winds. The sail is reefed all the way down and the boat is very manageable. We later put up full sail and it got pretty exciting.

Just wanted to share a "good morning" with all my friends on youtube. This video was filmed at my parents' home in Belhaven, NC. The Pungo River has to be one of the most beautiful natural settings on earth, and I am fortunate enough to have grown up there. At 8:30AM the temperature was about 35F, there was slight breeze, and it overcast. But, I think you'll agree, mother nature is beautiful in all forms. Inside, breakfast was being prepped, coffee was brewing, and a fire was warming the cabin. A good morning, indeed.... Thanks for watching.
